Here are just a few of my success stories from infertility reflexology
Kathryn
I had been trying to conceive for approximately two and
a half years and blood tests showed that I was not ovulating
at all. I was referred to Exeter fertility unit where I was diagnosed
with classic polycystic ovaries and put on a
course of Clomaphine. I had two cycles of various strengths and
was told that it was not working. I was about to have a series
of hormone injections and ovarian drilling when I decided to try
reflexology. I proceeded to have five treatments
in total and just before my sixth treatment because things felt
different I decided to take a pregnancy test. To our surprise
and delight we found that I was in fact pregnant…..KATHRYN

I
had been trying to conceive for three years.
I’d taken the fertility drug Clomaphine for six months because
I was not ovulating but still didn’t become pregnant. I
heard about Jane and reflexology and embarked on a course of treatment.
On 28th November, three days after my period was due, and after
only six sessions of reflexology, I discovered
that I was pregnant. I could not believe the positive effect that
reflexology had on my body and obviously what drugs and time could
not do, reflexology did!….TINA

After four years and having undergone Clomaphine
treatment and a number of assisted fertility treatments
without success, I turned to reflexology when polycystic
ovarian syndrome threatened my chances of having a family.
Through
reflexology, my periods became regular so I decided to put my
next assisted fertility treatment cycle on hold and continue with
the reflexology for a while. I achieved and maintained a regular
28-day cycle and after nine treatments I had
a positive pregnancy test – Lois was born in February 2000.
All
I can say is that I achieved a 28-day cycle and very soon afterwards
I conceived after several years of trying…surely that cannot
be dismissed as pure coincidence?…LESLIE

Having sadly miscarried two pregnancies, my husband and I had
been trying to conceive a healthy baby for two years.
After only nine reflexology treatments, the excellent news was
that I become pregnant. We now have a beautiful boy called Benjamin.
Reflexology not only increased my monthly cycle from 24 days to
28 but it hugely reduced my painful periods and controlled my
dysmennorrhoea. I feel I can speak for many women who
over the years have suffered so much and found that reflexology
had so much to offer. Thank you Jane….LUCY

I'm
28 years old. I started to take the contraceptive pill at the
age of 18 which was recommended by my doctor to give me regular
periods as my cycles were very irregular - months apart. I had
started my periods just before my sixteenth birthday. I believe
they were brought on by shock.
I
came off the pill 4 and a half years ago and after a year of a
non-existent cycle (3 periods) and complaining of pains
in the bottom right hand side of my abdomen I had a laparoscopy
which revealed nothing. I was diagnosed as having an exceptional
hormone imbalance. I started to take the fertility drug 'clomid'
which was successful but unfortunately I miscarried at six weeks.
I had previously got pregnant while on the pill but had also miscarried
at 9 weeks.
I
started to see a specialist in March 1999 at Torbay Hospital where
I had a nycosy (dye injected through fallopian tubes) which was
clear. I was informed I had a condition called 'Polycystic Ovary
Syndrome' which was very common. I was told I would find it difficult
to conceive without help, so I started on a course of injections
to stimulate the follicles to grow. I had three months of injections
which proved unsuccessful, my next option was to have holes drilled
into my ovaries. Whilst waiting for the operation I was given
Jane Holt's telephone number by somebody who had heard of the
good work Jane had done. I saw Jane on August 29 th 1999 for my
first session. The session involved Jane working on different
areas of my feet, which I found really quite uncomfortable, actually
painful!
On
a scale of one to ten the pain was definitely a ten! After two
more visits I had a period after 48 days, the length of the cycle
was no different to the previous, but the period was more normal,
it lasted four days rather than two and was clot free and I felt
much better than usual.
After
two more visits to Jane the painful areas on my feet had reduced
dramatically. On a scale of one to ten they had been
reduced to two or threes, it was amazing!
Even
more amazing one week later I did a pregnancy test and
found out I was pregnant! I couldn't believe it! I am
now almost eighteen weeks pregnant and everything is fine, the
baby has a strong heartbeat and is starting to move around!
It
is amazing, and I believe it is all down to Jane Holt and her
expertise and knowledge of reflexology.

I
am a midwife and was keen to learn about reflexology and when
I commenced your course at the end of September, I had
been trying myself to conceive for a year.
I
discussed with you my problem associated with my periods i.e.
80% painful dysmenorrhoea for 4-5 days. I also suffered 70% nausea,
90% backache for approx 4 days prior to the period. I had suffered
these symptoms for many years - i.e. 20 years.
Within
the weekend course I not only had 2 sessions of reflexology but
you concentrated on the whole of the hormonal reflex points i.e.
pituitary, ovaries, uterus, lumbar spine, all which were agony
i.e. 8-9 out of 10.
Approximately
10 days following, I had a period one week early - I suffered
no nausea, backache or pain associated with the period, which
I couldn't believe.
I
was even more astounded to find myself pregnant. Just
over 4 weeks later when I did 2 positive pregnancy tests.
I
have complete faith that the reflexology was responsible for not
only initially relieving all my period problems but my subsequent
pregnancy (now 7 weeks).
It
would be great if the research project can be undertaken so that
many other women like myself can be helped.
Thank
you.
